If the accident would have never happened, DT would have probably played for three or four more years. He was starting to head towards the downside of his career. He was more prone to injuries, especially leg injuries, and he had lost a step. He still would have spent his entire career here. King Carl would have seen to that, being he was the King's very first pick. DT would have a cushy job in the Chiefs front office, like Brett has with the Royals.

Serving as Dictator Carl's co-propagandist (along with Bob Moore) forever tarnishes Fat Ass Gretz's credibility.

The fact Fat Ass Gretz had to create Rufus Dawes to hide behind while doing Dictator Carl's dirty work in attacking critics shows how much of a gutless coward he was.
