Fescoe references a website that doesn't like Alex Smith

Coming up tomorrow, we discuss what else...THE CHIEFS. How has Andy Reid changed the culture, one website does not like Alex Smith and why the hate from the national media may be a good thing. Plus we hear from a lot of coaches on the Chiefs staff, we hear from Bill Self and talk with Jayice Pearson at 9 and Lazlo at 930. Plus if you could have a non super hero super power what would it be? Fescoe in the Morning 6-10 AM on 610 Sports Radio
Am I missing something obvious, or is CP gonna get some love/hate on 610 in the morning?

Our team wouldn't be playing close to the vest games hoping the defense holds or the offense kicks a field goal with Rivers.

I don think our "team" is playing that way now. Are you watching the games? We aren't exactly running the RRPP offense.

We are squeaking out wins mainly on the back of the defense.

Rivers + Andy Reid + Charles + Bowe = Shit ton of points

Put that with our defense and national media would jack us off like they do with Manning.

My comment about Rivers was specifically about the Denver game since that is what was asked. One or two patented Rivers turnovers at horrible times easily cost us that game. But as a whole we would probably be better off with him, at least with how he is playing this year.

Not because we are playing conservative on offense.

You also have to buy into the fact that Clark hasn't actually told them that the Chiefs don't draft QBs, and they don't have that option. I truly believe the last three GMs took the job under this rule. The evidence is just too clear.

Having the 1.1, put them in a position of only having one excuse, the QBs weren't good enough. (But Erik Fisher is)
Always before, their pick wasn't high enough to get the Qb that justified the pick.

I think this is simply the most ludicrous thing I have ever read on CP and thats saying something.

What would the motive be? Please explain why that makes business sense from a $ standpoint or a winning standpoint.

And who in the world would take the job under that pretense?

I don't know why but statements like this just irritate the **** out of me because its so ridiculous. Its absurd.

Didn't mean to irritate you, or pop your bubble, but It makes perfect business sense. To say it is absurd is just not looking at the evidence or history on your part.

Did Carl ever draft a QB? What did he do? He constantly traded for them. What was Pioli's first move? Trading for Cassel. What was this regimes first move? Trading for Alex Smith. What do they all have in common? Ownership that was burned by the 83 draft.

Were you around in the days prior to Carl Peterson, when you could walk up on game day and get good seats?

Getting to 10 and 6, filling Arrowhead and getting to the playoffs has always been the goal just like it was this year. Of course, they have overshot that goal so far and we are all enjoying it.

When they actually draft a QB, you come running and tell me I am wrong. I doubt if I live that long.
