***Ask Lonewolf Ed Anything Thread***

Lonewolf Ed was given some bad news recently. While he is going to be busy kicking some butt, I thought this would be a good chance for us to get to know more about our friend.

We are mostly an anonymous group of strangers, for the most part, but sometimes its nice to humanize this place and get some value out of these relationships.

So ask away! Let's get to know his views on life, his funny stories, his firsts, his favorites... there are no rules, except for the ones he makes.

Here's to Ed!

I won't be fishing but I'll join you in the Cold Smoke. I only have two left though.

Hi, I just got back from Las Vegas an hour or so ago. I was there from Monday the 25th until today. I had a great time, and battled a blackjack table with 100 bucks, sitting in the same chair for SIX hours until I couldn't stand it anymore. I took my 46 dollars in chips, went to the can hobbling since my ass was killing me from sitting for so long, and then ate dinner. After that, I saw perhaps the strangest among the strange. A guy came up begging anyone to kick him in the nads for 20 bucks. I also trumped a panhandler with an aritificial foot. I showed my port and said, "Stage IV liver cancer!" He gasped, then asked me for money again anyhow. Sigh.

Not a question right now, just an encouragement. Your outlook on life and attitude inspires me. I'm sure there are "those days" where it gets really heavy to think about, and I hope you'll share those too...but man I'm praying for you and just hope you know you're helping all of us out. You too, Dave.

Walking the strip was extremely annoying getting asked for money every 2 minutes and having little Mexicans throwing cards at you.

Thanks very much! I've had 2 rounds of chemo so far and it has gone very very well. I've had minor, odd side effects, so I can deal with that. Aside from a sub par pizza a few days back, I have not felt bad. I am more tired during chemo week and I am on day 2 of my "off" week, so I want to get outside and move around, do some work in the pasture like gathering downed tree limbs to burn. I lifted some weights yesterday, just 20 reps, since my endurance has taken a hit from the chemo. My plan is to chill during chemo week, since I tried the riding mower for half an hour and wore myself out, and building up strength and endurance through exercise on my off weeks.

The most down I've felt lately was last Sunday watching the Chiefs and seeing DJ rupture his Achilles. I'm prepared for the Chiefs to be bent over the ass-raping stump in Denver, so it won't be as bad this Sunday.

I didn't have anyone toss cards at me, but the panhandlers were a sight to behold!

I'll second that.

I've had a pretty tough year. You are definitely an inspiration.

Oh, you want questions that challenge your life consideration? Ok.

So, you're in vegas. No one is going to know except you and you have to make choice A or B to stop a terrorist plot.

You have to commit a marital act with
A. A below average looking and above average weight female woman "OMAHA! OMAHA!"
B. An "attractive" transexual "I'm Jim Jones Biiiiiiiitch"

There have been a few hairs on the pillow case, but I have been told that if you lose your hair, you lose ALL of it, inside the nose, eyelashes, everything. So far, I am still a frighteningly furry throwback looking sort of guy.

What, you mean a marital act like asking for permission before I go anywhere or opening joint accounts where my name is second?
