You need a new daily driver, your budget is $24,000...

You can buy a new or used vehicle. What would you buy and why?

I'm glad you like yours but its a car Hyundai needs to spend some more time on if it makes it another iteration.
I will have owned the car two years Oct. 10th, it has 13,500 and the only time it been to the dealer was for regular maintenace. I had read recently they might discontinue the Veloster all together because they've only sold 30,000 since it was introduced. Everytime I go to the dealer, he'll have 5 or so regular models, but never a Turbo. The price difference is so little, I can't understand why they even make the regular version, the front grill on the Turbo is so much better looking.

I'm hoping they do discontinue the car, should make it more collectible like the Chrysler Crossfire or the recent Ford Thunderbird. I don't know why the guy felt it was a hassle to drive, compared to the Mazda 3 Grand Touring it feels like a Cadillac. I guess that is all relative to what you were driving before. I remember in 1975 I drove a motorcycle to work and everywhere for a year because that was all I had. Then I traded it for 1976 Honda Civic, it was a very small car, but after riding that motorcycle the Honda felt big.

To be fair, the oil pan gasket, shocks, and brake switch issues where not limited to only Velosters, it was pretty much all Hyundais except Genesis.

As far as being collectible, I don't see it, but we can hope!

yeah; that seems to be familiar.

Looked incredible.
between that and the Genesis, those are two sports cars that appear (admittedly I haven't don't any research) to be very affordable for the average joe.

I think if I were to ever decide to get into a healthy payment etc, it would be the Camaro/Mustang route for sure.

my problem is I like motorcycles too much
I need to win the lottery, is basically what I'm saying.

and, I just paid off my car a year early in August.

Yes, but they're so slow. No idea why Toyota and Subaru didn't put more power into them.

The motors don't take turbos or superchargers well either according to my buddy who owns a tuner shop. His shop and another one are already working on an LS swap kit for one because one of his clients has blown 4 motors trying different turbo builds.
