****2015 March Madness thread****

I'll probably find the time to keep daily updated brackets in the thread. In the mean time, who do you have winning it all? Kentucky a lock? Teams lose. So I don't think so. I truly believe undefeated hurts you going into The Dance.

Virginia's head coach Tony Bennett comes from Wazzu and I remember being happy the day he left even though I wondered why Virginia? Not rooting for them. I really don't know.

I expect Kansas to not make the sweet 16 potentially. Definitely not a championship contender (which would make it all the sweeter should they defy the odds).

Oh, and **** Kentucky. Also, **** the refs during the first half. Grant went up for a dunk and Anthony-Towns damned near slapped his hand off. Naturally, the referee called it a clean block and Kentucky was going down the court seconds later. This was one of about 4 instances I remember off the top of my head.
Good call on picking THE most over-rated college basketball team of the past decade. We tried to tell you.

Okay, that may be true, but I'm just saying hand is ball. I didn't see that play.

I very much wanted the Zags to win, but I fully recognize the Dukies are the bigger threat to Kensucky.

BIG WINNERS: The combined record for the four teams of 133-18 ranks as the fifth-highest winning percentage ever (.881). The 2008 Final Four of Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina and UCLA hold the record for the best winning percentage since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985. The four entered with a 143-9 mark, a .941 winning percentage.

I sat just off the court in SA for Saturday's games in 2008. I kept saying "Why did we pick such a shitty year to have a great year?" Still hard to believe we cashed it in.

Interesting fact with the winning percentages.

And 60% of those loses belong to Michigan State.

Is the point of picking a bracket to be gutsy or correct?

I have Wisconsin beating Duke in the final.

Opening Vegas lines:

Kentucky -5 (Sagarin is -4.5)
Duke -5 (Sagarin -5.5)

It sure looks like Duke should be heavier than that but i guess MSU may be better than I think
