In the tournament KU will be locked in the way we were when trying to win the conference. If we lose it’ll be due to bad shooting not because of turnovers. Those 10 games in conference play were when KU was it’s most focused, most locked in. The game Saturday was our first game with no pressure and we were sloppy. In the ten games prior to Saturday night, KU had averaged 11 turnovers per game. 11 TO’s per game would put them easily in top 50 in country.

Self's teams have always had high turnover numbers, but it usually doesn't matter much due to having the best two point defense in the country.... being "only" top 25 hurts that some.

Every team can say the same thing man. That's why it's madness and definitely a crap shoot. If they wanted the best team to win it all there would be some sort of series for every matchup. Hell, if CBB was ran like the BCS KU would have a lot more NCs. And it would be ran by KU, UK, Duke and UNC and a few others possibly. Those teams likely rotate titles.

I feel better about this team because of our offense, actually. You gotta be able to score. Teams like Cincy and Zona are in trouble, IMO. Defense does travel but balance gets you the ring. Should be a great 68.

The BWillie Oklahoma World Tour has come to an end. Our tour consisted of Eskimo Joes, Gallagher-Iba, Norman, OKC, Whattaburger, Riverwind Casino and Chesapeake Arena. Kevin Durant's restaurant was closed because of the ice Thought I was going to kill myself driving home, had to go 35 mph until the Kansas border. Bryan Busby told me that it wasn't supposed to snow & ice in Oklahoma, but the wintry weather would start just south of Wichita. Liar.

Thought I'd share my love for Marcus Smart with Oklahoma State fan's by wearing my pink Marcus Flopper tribute shirt. They were not amused.

I counted at least 6 pivotal flops. It's just simply amazing how he wills his team to victory. The way he contorts his body and grimaces in deep intense pain when he flops to the floor is just an uncanny ability. During the KU game in Stillwater, Smart became the first athlete EVER to do the barrel roll flop during a game. There are talks that LeBron James & James Harden successfully completed this move in scrimmage games, but NEVER in real live action. Here is the now famous barrel roll flop:



His level of concentration and effort is unparalleled. Rumor has it that Smart will begin working with legendary Figure Skating Choreographer & Coach Tatiana Tarasova before the 2014 NBA Draft in hopes to add a quadruple axel flop to his routine, in addition to his already patented double "light as a feather" flop seen here:

It's so hard to have any connection with either guy, being here one year. I don't mind OADs at all but how many "memories" did either provide us? Was it Wiggins 28 vs TCU or Embiid up in Ames, I don't know. Wiggins has had a very good year but he wasn't the highlight reel I thought he'd be. He was way too tentative taking the ball to the hole and finishing, up until about 2 weeks ago.


Frankly I enjoyed watching McLemore over either one.

Really? I liked McLemore, he had a good smile and seemed to be having fun, but he wasn't near the complete player Wiggins is. McLemore was an average defender, was a pretty bad ball handler, and really had trouble scoring on his own. Better shooter than Wiggins, but Wiggins is certainly going to be the better pro and already more rounded player. If you were to take a player whos going to help their team win this year, it's certainly Wiggins.
