I know you didn't miss the statistics that indicate the B12 is a good basketball conference I posted last page, you just chose to ignore them.

That sucks for them. They were a year away from being legit pro prospects. They would've gotten so much better had they stayed one more year. All the best to them though.

Staying for another year has probably never helped anybody, in fact it usually hurts them.

Barnes is a good coach. He has his flaws like not being able to produce in March. But he's got a hell of a program that produces a lot of NBA talent. I'd say he's 2nd tier top coach
1st tier Coach K (not even gonna attempt to spell that cluster-**** of a last name) Roy Williams Tom Izzo Jim Boehiem Jim Calhoun Bill Self John Calapari Rick Pitino Billy Donovan I would put Barnes in the next group of good coaches. |

It's too bad they're not mature enough to be able to live apart from one another. To be honest I don't think MkMorris is skilled enough offensively to be a factor in the NBA. But, best of luck to both of them. The only time I ever watch the NBA is to see if any former Jayhawks are playing.

Morris twins sign with agent, will declare for draft
By J-W Staff Reports Photo by Nick Krug Brother Marcus Morris, left, and Markieff Morris congratulate each other after grabbing a foul against Iowa State during the first half on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas University's Marcus and Markieff Morris have signed with agent Tony Dutt and Rival Sports Group, LLC, it was announced Thursday afternoon. The twins will therefore declare for the NBA Draft and forgo their senior season at KU. In a release put out by Keating and Co., Marcus said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my three seasons as a Kansas Jayhawk, and consider it a privilege to have had the opportunity to play for coach Self and his staff. It was a difficult decision but I feel it’s the right time for me to realize my dream to play in the National Basketball Association.” Markieff added: "As I move on to the professional stage of my career I will always remember my time as a Jayhawk. Playing here has prepared me for the opportunity to have a successful career in the NBA.” Rival Sports Group, LLC, is a full-management firm based in Beverly Hills, Calif. “We are pleased to have the Morris Twins aboard to represent their interests as professional athletes," Rival Sports Group CEO Richard Gebbia said. "They are outstanding young men and have a bright future ahead of them in the NBA and beyond.” http://www2.kusports.com/news/2011/a...declare-draft/ |

Disagree...they're pretty much as good as they're going to get right now (which is pretty damn good) and this is probably the weakest draft I've ever seen. It's the right move, I don't know how they're going to deal with being separated, though.

Good luck, guys!
This is good for them, and it frees up some schollies. T-Rob will shine next year with them gone, and we'll have some recruits to take their spots for a couple of years. Win all around. |
