I'm sure I'll get it, hopefully I won't be able to cheat, mod and hack this time!
I actually regret doing that, I have like 500 million kills and 2,000 deaths in MW2 and it's definitely less interesting now. Modding the gamertag added some fun to it, but it's just same old same old. I hope they went a different direction or something with the MP. |

BF is one of the least frustrating online FPS franchises. There are some annoying glitches at times, but I don't get nearly as pissed off at people as I used to in MW2.

edit: Crossing my fingers that the resigned/fired IW directors that left and went to EA games are there to create the next MW game (or whatever it may be called) for EA... at least EA uses its own ****ing servers and can purge cheating/modding players from the game, as well as actively try to fix any glitches in a timely manner. At least they will attempt to make it appear that they aren't just bending gamers over and ****ing them in the ass for their money. It pretty much shows that Activision gives zero shits about people who buy the games, once they have you, they don't really care... they got their $1.5+ billion from us all.

Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack' adding five more maps on June 3by Griffin McElroy { May 13th 2010 at 9:32AM } In what might be the briefest press release we've ever received from a major publisher announcing a new chunk of DLC for an über-successful game, Activision revealed that another set of five multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 2 will drop on Xbox Live on June 3. We know two things about said maps so far: They're coming in a set called the "Resurgence Pack," and their release will be heralded by two double XP weekends on May 28 and June 4. Now, that's what we know. What we assume is that the pack will feature a mix of new maps and renovated versions of Call of Duty 4 maps -- perhaps a bit more of the latter, given the title of the bundle. What we also assume is that the "Resurgence Pack" will carry the $15 price tag of the "Stimulus Package" (it worked well enough before). We'll contact people in the know to see if we can squeeze out any firmer details. |

Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack' Detailed in Rob Bowling Interview Written Friday, May 14, 2010 by Richard Walker It's the Stimulus Package all over again, as the forthcoming Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack', available from June 3rd, will retail for the same price and feature the same ratio of old maps to new ones. So, that's three new maps and two classics - Vacant and Strike from CoD4 - joining the growing list of MW2 multiplayer maps. The new maps are called Fuel, Trailer Park and Carnival making up the five map 'Resurgence Pack', which will retail for 1200 Microsoft Points as predicted. To buy or not buy... That is the question. Can you bear to part with another 1200 points for more multiplayer maps? You can listen to the interview with Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling for more on the MW2 'Resurgence Pack' over on Major Nelson's blog, and make your mind up. |

No way, man. Like pantson said Battlefield is way less annoying, and it's twice as fun as MW2. The only thing better about MW2 is the gun play. I traded in MW2 for Battlefield and I'm glad I did because after playing Battlefield I wouldn't touch that piece of shit.

I agree. As far as mechanics go... MW>BF but Battlefield requires teamwork to win, something I haven't seen in many games. You could be the best player and with no teamwork you wouldn't stand a chance of winning.

That kinda game isn't for me then. I struggle heavily with strategy for team games in FPS. MW2 was the first online shooter I ever played.
