Regardless of whether it ever happens, though, he'll still go down as one of the best players to ever play the game in the end, much like Barkley/Malone did (and he's a much better player overall than them).

If lebron is someday on a championship team he won't get the credit for winning it from anyone other than his current defenders such as yourself.

What about in the two previous series? Or the entire regular season? Or his entire career? Or is it only these five games that count? LeBron is capable of domination at any time and has done so in the 4th plenty of times. There's a reason people aren't writing off the Heat yet in this series despite going to play in a harsh road environment and it's almost entirely because of what he's capable of when he puts his mind to it.

Nah, people are frontrunners. They'll hop right back on the bandwagon like they were in the pre-Miami days when/if he wins. It would be a good story.

LeBron is somebody that people love to hate right now because of the Miami thing, I have little doubt that could change very easily.
