Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

It was the wrong decision. Wrong compensation. Wrong draft. Wrong team.

It was a giant abortion of a trade that made our #1 overall pick worthless, negatively affected fan morale in a huge way, and played right into the 49ers' hands. If Alex Smith turns out to be a very good QB in Kansas City, the history and statistics show it will be totally unprecedented.

lol, ill watch, but excited? nope, i learn my lesson. There is going to be no turning this shit around with Alex Smith. Its not going to happen.

We will be batter, cant get much worse then the 2012 season. I think the 0-16 Lions might have been able to beat the 2012 Chiefs.

Bad Guy, do you play pool? Have you ever played with a jackass who sinks slop and then acts like he just pulled off an amazing shot? Isn't that annoying?

That's what the Chiefs will be if Alex Smith wins a Super Bowl with us. The drunk jackass. They might win the game, and I might be glad they won the game, but that doesn't mean they took a good shot at all.

This will forever be a bad trade regardless of the circumstances.

There can't be many.

This is like a baseball team that cometely ignores it's pitching staff, but wants to have an all star everywhere else...or a soccer team that doesn't care who their goalie is...a hockey team that thinks it can win it all with a bottom tier goalie...a basketball team that thinks they fan win it all without a top five star in their lineup...a NASCAR team thinking they can win the daytona 500 with a stock Chevy Impala.

This will be our 4th top 5 pick of the last 6 years and we STILL WON'T HAVE A FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK.

HAVENT EVEN TRIED ONCE.

Remove yourself of your fanhood for a few minutes and think about that as strictly football fan and not a Chiefs fan.

There can't be many teams out there as stupid as this one...and the initi thoughts of this "new regime" are that they got completely RAPED on their first move.

After all we have been through, it's crazy to think that anyone would want to defend this trade.

No.

This trade is the know it all pool player that wants to bet his house on a 3 rail bank that sinks the 8 ball in the side pocket.

Teams just don't luck into the Super Bowl. Winning 3 or 4 playoff games is hardly comparable to a luck streak playing pool.

As I said in my earlier post, if you really believe this, I don't know what to tell you. Honestly it's mind numbing that a fan of a team that hasn't won a playoff game in 20 years would complain about any way to win a Super Bowl.

Just because it doesn't have the Smith you wanted, doesn't make it any less valid.
