I'm hoping for a couple more embarrassments at this point. This series has been more than the Thunder just missing Ibaka. The problems began mid year when you give up on Lamb and Jones for scrubs like Fisher and Butler. When you lose a player there is no system to fall back on and you force everything. Tonight wasn't Brooks fault but it's a result of what has been building this season.

Fire Brooks
Hire Karl
Cut Fisher, Thabo and Butler.
Get a legitimate 3 point threat.
Amnesty Perk and get a defensive center to compliment Adams for the league minimum.
Either let your young kids and picks develop or trade them away for vets that can make plays.

That window that was wide open is now 3/4 shut. We are the 80s Bulls. Do they have the balls to become the 90s Bulls? I guess we'll find out soon.

This looks very similar to what was needed last offseason. WTF is wrong with Presti? How is it that he can't see what seems obvious to everyone else?

No, he won't leave Miami. But he may think he'll be able to leverage other offers to get max from Miami, and those offers aren't going to materialize. Pau Gasol on the Thunder would be brilliant. The Heat can play with an undersized 5, so I have no clue why the Thunder couldn't do the same and forget about Fat Perkins.

Ibaka and Pau do a lot of the same kinds of things on offense, but that's the added dimension Gasol would give you.

I'd love to see that.
