Predict who will be released next by Oakland.

What a crummy organization.

Who will will be released next...?

Ross Tucker ‏ @RossTuckerNFL
Ever been a team in worse off-season shape than Raiders? $25M over cap after cutting Routt & just 5th/6th Rd picks.

3 awful CBs at that

they actually might start Ron Bartell and Shawntae Spencer at CB1/CB2. That is ****ing awful.

do they know Peyton Manning is in the AFC West now? Those guys can't cover the broad side of a barn.

NFL franchises cut their only good players and then sign shitty ones by the boatload?

Interesting strategy.

Raiders get 3 compensatory picks
ALAMEDA, Calif. - The Oakland Raiders more than doubled their draft haul by receiving three compensatory picks Monday for April's draft.

The NFL awarded the Raiders picks at the end of the third, fourth and fifth rounds based on free agents they lost and signed last off-season.

"Whatever the formula is, I love this formula. I love it," new general manager Reggie McKenzie said from the NFL owners meetings in Florida.

What a horrible draft so far. Curry was decent value in the 7th, but the rest of the draft is embarrassing.

They should start by burning down the city and clearing out the fans.

So even the league felt sorry for the Raiders previous poor decisions?

The compensatory picks are based upon players lost the previous season. Thought the Raiders were pretty active last year to get three picks. They'll get a ton for next year. They're tanking to get Barkely and will get extra picks out of it.

edit: to be honest not sure how their FAs will count because they cut the players

New GM Reggie McKenzie gets a huge break, as the Raiders had no picks in the first four rounds. Nnamdi Asomugha, Zach Miller and Robert Gallery were the biggest names they lost, and they failed to have the hoped-for impact. This is a massive win for Oakland.
