I'm going to give Alex a chance. Maybe he is Rich Gannon combined with Trent Green and will be brilliant. I didn't watch tonight's pre-season game. I really don't care. I'll accept that Alex looked terrible tonight. Last week he looked pretty damned good. Reid trusts him, let's see what he's got.

He was making NFL management decisions. Over analyzing preseason games isn't really a smart thing to do. He was making safe reads in the first game, and he went against one of the top defenses in this game. Same defense that made peyton go 3 and out.

I think Chiefs will smoke the Jags week one. The full playbook will be perfect for Alex strengths and for Charles strengths.
