Hochevar has been pitching for 2 months now. He says he feels fine and is ready to get back and has something to prove

Where did you hear or read this?

I've not seen that, and it would pretty surprising if a guy was "pitching" (throwing off the mound) since August, which was just 4 1/2 months after his TJ surgery.

He might have started his throwing and rehab program in August, but that's far different than max effort pitching that includes breaking pitches.

I'm guessing that this was the story he was referring to: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/940712...y-john-surgery

Yeah, that timetable makes a lot more sense. It's usually about 6 months before guys can even throw a ball after TJ.

The more I think about the player the Royals need to take a long look at is Colby Rasmus. Right age, has power, can play defense. Yeah he has the horrible splits against lefties though so that sucks. But reading into a lot of his problems has to do with clubhouses. We all know LaRussa is a bitch. The Cardinals were a veteran laden team. Of course they aren't going to take kindly to a bonus baby. Then traded to Toronto, which is a Dominican laden team.

Now compare to the Royals - team has a bunch of bonus baby types. Lot of high first round picks on the team. Very laid back, loose locker room. Yost is a players manager. Not to mention very Southern feel in the locker room as well. It looks like a very good situation to bounce back for him.

Lol. He's untradeable and slated to make 18/per the next four years. If there were negative odds this would qualify

A time machine so he could go back, prevent himself from ever making Bushwhacked, and have another shot at his film career?

We need someone who CAN hit lefties, because Dyson can't
