Well, they rarely throw his way anyway.

@RapSheet: Sources: #Browns are expected to release S Calvin Pryor just a few days before the opener after a fight with a teammate before practice.

I 100% expect Pryor to be signed as soon as we have a diagnosis on Berry. It makes too much sense not to. Unless the consensus is that he's a psychopath, you gotta overlook the fight thing and do what you can to add veteran talent to the defensive backfield right now.

I bet since they give him a max deal that it has a clause for oncological diseases and they had Berry pay the insurance on it. But no, he gets the same rights as any other player on a contract for standard injuries

Absolutely hate to hear about Berry. One of the class guys in the NFL, and despite being a Chief, one of my favorite guys to watch outside the Raiders. Hoping for the best outcome.

1) Eric's Achilles has been a concern since before his cancer diagnosis.
2) Eric Murray is going to be a very good safety. Very physical and can man up with most WRs, TEs and backs. 3) It super sucks to lose another guy before the ink on his mega contract has dried. |

Non contact injuries like this are more and more common now with the lack of contact practices. Guys go from not doing much to all of the aggressive starting and stopping and pop ligaments and tendons.

Yep. Berry will not be the only high impact player lost for the year this week. You'll see several more of these type injuries Sunday.

They need to break every rule in the book to save Eric Berry. Elk blood, moose piss, fly him to Germany, HGH, Roids, I don't care.
Other champ teams have gotten away with cheating, so why not the Chiefs? |
