I'll take 1st. Also, I like how Hali's best game against the Broncos was:
a) when Clady was playing injured b) a 31 point Bronco win.

I am sure your boy will just bounce back from that injury lol. Meanwhile the best case scenario that you have is two good pass rushers who are weak...and I mean weak against the run in a division with the top 2 running teams in the NFL. Broncos will maintain their bottom feeder status just fine. They can't run or stop the run. Last edited by |Zach|; 08-31-2011 at 04:35 AM.. |

2. Von Miller
The first thing you notice with Miller — his strength. In a matchup with Cowboys first-round pick Tyron Smith, Miller consistently controlled the 300-pound tackle, lifting him off his feet at one point. Not that this is anything new to Miller — he was a hand-in-the-dirt defensive end in the Big 12 only months ago. His pass-rushing skills could become elite for a linebacker in the NFL, displaying an excellent speed rush to set up his bull rush and “inside veer” moves. The real test for an edge rusher converting to strongside linebacker in a 4-3 is defending the pass, where dropping back and recognizing receiver spacing and route combinations will be new. We don’t foresee a lot of situations where he will have to cover, but he needs to become accustomed to it. But Miller appears to be a quick learner and reads his keys well versus the run. No longer pigeonholed to the edge of the defense but pushed back to linebacker depth, he still takes on fullbacks well. The Broncos have also lined Miller up at 4-3 defensive end and he set the edge with force. When he pursues a run away from his side, though, we would like to see him come across the line with a little more urgency. But we are sure that’s a minor point and will be improved in time. http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/08/30/fore...content_stream

He will just pin his ears back and get ridden up the field and open a huge hole. I remember watching him at A&M. He overruns plays with aggressive angles His sole job was to pressure the quarterback and often teams would run draw plays to take advantage of Miller’s focus on sacking the quarterback.

He is a great player...he will grow and do just fine. But you have good pass rushers who are terrible against the run. And we are going to be more than happy to exploit that. But what do I know? The NFL is a great place to be a rookie and suddenly be good at a phase of the game that was a weakness. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if you didn't have Elvis on the other side...who we all know...in the NFL...is weak against the run. |

6 wins would be a nice step for the Broncos. Asking anymore than that this year is pretty KnowMoish. I mean they played the NFC West and all last year and still managed 4 wins. Since that's used against the Chiefs it's only fair that we add that to the sucktitude of Denver.
