Let's talk about the 49ers (Super Bowl Edition)

Discuss.

He's kind of the Jimmy Carter of failed QBs, enjoying his renaissance. I guess it beats working at Foot Locker.

They’ll hand a microphone to just about anyone these days. Good for him I suppose, but when I’m interested in listening to some football takes, “I wonder what Ryan Leaf has to say about this” is not something I ponder, let alone would seek out to satiate any curiosity.

I've watched a couple of bits on YouTube. To his credit, he doesn't shy away from the multitude of mistakes he made, and seems far more coherent, informed and likeable than many other talkingsportsheads. Hell, I'd listen to him on a 24/7 loop rather than endure five minutes of Steven A. Smith.

I don't really ponder on what he thinks, either, but God knows there are far worse out there.

I wouldn't knock it until you've actually listened to him. He comes off pretty articulate and well informed. It's not like they handed him the mic just because "he's Ryan Leaf", he clearly looks like he's put a ton of effort into being a half decent talking head.

And like Frazod said, he's so much better than any other ESPN schmuck they throw out there.

Like, who would ever want the Chiefs to build a stadium with a roof?

It's me. I want a stadium with a retractable roof. I think Mahomes has only lost one game in a dome or retractable roof stadium.
The only thing I’ll say is that the January weather conditions at Arrowhead have been critical in completely neutralizing an opposing offense two (maybe three) times in the Mahomes era.

Some quarterbacks simply can not throw a ball in the cold or the snow, and ours can. I don’t think that advantage can be understated in elimination games.

Maybe I'm biased from my younger days, but Arrowhead wouldn't be Arrowhead with a retractable roof. It has a mystique about it, and a roof or dome would definitely subtract from that. I dont know why any Chiefs fan would ever want that taken away.

Boston douche Chris Brockman on Eisen also picked the Niners. He was the only one. Eisen, TJ, and Del Tufo all picked Chiefs.

Like, at some point, just be honest. It's so ****ing obvious how afraid you are. Putting on a hatred charade like this is just embarrassing.

To think there was plenty of discussion leading up to the draft over which QB was better, him or Manning.
