I think this movie would be great. Dillinger's real life story is really awesome. Many in that era thought he was a sort of hero with a charismatic swagger. Banks were not liked very well during the depression era. Directed by Micheal Mann.

Ha! The land of the lost stunk on his debut weekend. This article attached shows they invested about 200 million in that worthless piece of junk. And it only made 19.5 out of the gates. Not good, not good at all.

Just watched Gran Torino.
Wow, some of the writing was pretty shitty, and some of the acting was terrible. I understand there needed to be a certain tone of prejudice, but good lord, I think I heard the same cheesy, generic slurs 6,000 times in 2 hours. I still enjoyed it on a base level though. |

Hangover was good but not great. Really funny, but nothing much else. Wedding Crashers was, by far, a better movie.

Just saw the Wrestler. Good flick. I actually felt sorry for him.
I still can't believe grown men like wrestling. |

It was a depressing flick, that's for sure.

Saw two films at the Tivoli tonight. Rudo y Corsi was fun; not enough tension, though.
Anvil: The Story of Anvil, however, was a superb documentary. |

Just got back from the remake of The Taking Of Pelham 123,Travolta was great as the bad guy but overall the movie wasn't.Don't get me wrong it's worth a watch but I'd personally hit a cheap matinee or wait till DVD.I'd give it 2 1/2 of 4 stars which on my scale is a regular movie, nothing so bad you can't sit through it and good enough to keep your attention.
