You're onto something here. I'm not sure I mind the "dress zany for your team" people. If that's your thing, go for it.

What makes him particularly annoying is there is nothing clever or unique about his schtick. You described it perfectly. A homeless man that found a bag of old chiefs stuff and decided to wear it all at once. Give him a shopping cart and the outfit is complete.

Homeless Factor.

No shit. Since when is it a bad thing to support your team. Because he has spandex on, he is no longer a "true" fan? Unless your wearing jeans and a jersey you no longer are a "real" fan?

Why should a Chief fan make fun of, ridicule other Chief fans for getting excited about supporting the Chiefs? WTF?

that being said this loudest stadium record is BS.

Try selling that idea on Sunday's tailgating at Arrowhead. Make sure you get some video and post it on here how it worked out.

Because this noise record thing is just idiocy.

Arrowhead had a home field advantage in the 90s because tickets were cheaper, people were more well off than they are now so the stadium was legitimately packed and those who were showing up were out-and-out FOOTBALL blue collar fans who knew to be loud for entire defensive stands and shut up on offense.

Tickets are too expensive and we're in an economic depression so you can't pack the stadium the same way. Most people now are yuppies / children of yuppies who don't know jack about the sport outside of "team that scores the most points wins" who think that being loud = screaming like a maniac at arbitrary points in the game rather than at a sustained loud as **** level for entire opposing offensive possessions.

The Arrowhead of the 90s is DEAD and is never coming back despite the best efforts of uber-fans like X-Factor.

And that's the long time Chief fans fault? Your blaming X-Factor and others for ticket prices?

Absolutely not. It's the Hunt family's fault for mismanaging the team from 1998 onward. The Herm era washed out what was left of the diehards fans from the Marty era because they'd rightfully had enough of the bullshit of retread quarterbacks and coaches.

I don't think anyone has a problem with that. I think it's just him. He stopped by our tailgate a few years ago and acted like he was some sort of A list celebrity. He really came off like a douche. It was pretty ridiculous.
