He's not a leader and he's not a shut down corner, but he does make big plays and is decent in coverage. He's getting a contract worth less per season than Trumaine Johnson and Josh Norman, and the same as Xavier Rhodes and Kyle Fuller and that doesn't include the inflation that will certainly occur this off-season at the CB position. He's not setting the market or breaking the bank.

Corners are hard to find. He's a pretty good one who makes a lot of splash plays. He was here and now he's not, and we got a couple seasons of pretty good play and some nice draft picks for him when we moved on. Our defense is much better now and his loss is barely noticeable.

His loss was 100% noticable in 2018 when the Defense was gashed six ways from Sunday and literally cost us the best chance at a SB in 50 years. Lets be real.

It's nice that we eventually parlayed that into Juan Thornhill, but man did that trade **** us deep in 2018.

They're likely never in a position for Dee to blow it if they weren't relying on Fuller or a Scandrick to play outside last year. Hell they would have landed a better trade for Alex, too.

Peters is quite good when he has a good safety, it allows him to jump routes and bait throws well. When we lost Berry he was shitty
