Give me that brand of basketball with STARS and DEFENSE. Any day.

And yes, as a Wolves fan, I KNOW what that looks like. It's the exact opposite of what the Wolves have been as a franchise historically.
I hate soccer and I like watching when Lebron or any other star dominates. I also like and appreciate how the Spurs play team basketball in a league that plays mostly iso basketball

Good question. I want them to play as many of these minutes as possible. The next game is in 48 hours and the Spurs will be motivated to play hard.

Yeah, basketball porn. Sweet. Spurs basketball. Basketball porn.

Totally.

This is silly. Miami's LeBron offense (when they're all trying that is, which is rare) is awesome to watch for exactly the same reasons the Spurs are. The Spurs also have three HOFs on their team and were the 3rd best defensive team in the league this season (behind Indiana and Chicago). Your immense hatred seems to be preventing you from appreciating them, though, and that's sad.

It's a pretty pivotal game too. Spurs get a couple quick buckets here and it's a close game.

I've grown to respect Pop a lot. Dude could coach a chili cheese sandwich to at least the second round lol. And with a good team like they have now...tough to beat. OKC could pull it off though.

I thought it was a remarkably accurate description. There is simply no better brand of basketball to watch in the NBA than when the Spurs are firing on all cylinders. It's certainly far better than watching Durant and Westbrook repeatedly bail out Brooks' shit offensive system or watching whatever it is the Pacers do on offense (or watching my team let DeRozan take low efficiency, Kobe Bryant-like ISO shots constantly).

Except that Miami plays with a boner when they're on. Also, they shut down teams with defense. They're full of clutch players. They score any which way.

Yeah, it's not caveman iso-play basketball every possession. There's complexity. But I wouldn't call it "beautiful."

If you want to play beautiful basketball, you're going to lose to the Heat.

The backups being able to come back to within 10-12 should resonate strongly with the starters. I bet they don't have another performance like this the rest of the playoffs.
