I'm having a hard time figuring out how the best PF of all time is a $3 player.

This one, too.
I would rank Duncan over Malone but him and Barkley have very comparable stats outside of championships and Barkley was only 6'6.

I had Duncan in my original list, but I still had $1 to spend. It was either Barkley or Magic and I went with Sir Charles.

I've made posts about this and you choose not to read them. You read some posts at the beginning when he was, and everyone agreed, throwing up ill advised shots and shooting too quickly which cost his team points and quality possessions. He hasn't been doing that since I started pointing that out. So you sir can eat a phallus.

Whenever I am trying to figure out which all time, shouldn't-dare-to-rank-them-great is better, I think "Could Hall of Famer A stop Hall of Famer B?"

I don't think Barkley could stop Duncan, but I think Duncan could stop Barkley.

I think Wilt could stop Shaq, but Shaq couldn't stop Wilt.

Neither of them could stop Kareem.

No one could stop Jordan.

Bird couldn't stop Lebron.

Durant couldn't stop Bird. MAYBE Lebron could slow him down, though.

Bird would eat Durant alive.

I think all the legendary players would find a way to get theirs. Where guys like Larry Bird would fall short athletically compared to guys like Lebron, they'd make up for with their craftiness and competitiveness. Who would "win" is entirely up for debate and we'll never really know who would win when comparing Olympic teams from now and then.

I've been watching a lot of Penny Hardaway videos lately. I always wonder what would have become of him had he not injured his knee in 1997. At that time he was on the brink of taking the league over (besides that Michael Jordan guy obviously). I also wonder what would have become of him had Shaq not left for the Lakers. That was a damn good Magic team with Shaq, Penny, Horace Grant, Nick Anderson, and Dennis Scott. They also had an up and coming guy as their 12th man at the time who turned into a pretty good PG (Darrell Armstrong).

Anyway, after Shaq left, Penny starting really dominating as a scorer and was blossoming into a leader. It was fun to watch. I actually got to go to a Magic game in 97. My parents scored the tickets and had the trip to Orlando all planned out, and then like a week before the trip Penny got hurt. It was still cool. I got to see Darrell Armstrong. Orlando lost the game to Utah. But man I was obsessed with Penny and it really bummed me out. I had those awesome Nike Pennys and everything lol.

That's ridiculous. Simply ridiculous.

Bird would get his. Period. To think otherwise is either revisionist or ignorant, but regardless... it's folly. You're literally saying Lebron would do something that other guys on this list were incapable of doing.

That's fair though I don't think that Duncan could stop Barkley, he would slow him down but not stop.

Don't disagree really with the rest though Lebron is a beast physically and he could definitely slow down Bird.
