I'd rather have Olajuwon than Shaq, really, but then where would I spend my extra dollar? I consider Dirk a downgrade from Garnett, and I'd also rather have Stockton than Isaiah Thomas.

I guess in the end I'd probably go with Frazier, Duncan, and Olajuwon if I had to take an alternate over Stockton, Garnett, and Shaq.

Jordan and Lebron, however, aren't going anywhere.

Larry would get his in any era. Can LeBron shut down Dirk? No? Then he wouldn't shut down Bird. Same tall, dead eye shooter with a high/quick release. And Bird was an asshole, in a good way. He was intent on killing anyone that went against him. Obviously he wouldn't kill LeBron, but LeBron wouldn't hold him down. Of course, on the other end......

My team would be Frazier, MJ, LeBron, Duncan and Hakeem. Duncan and Hakeem are givens at their price IMO. If you wanted to mix it up, you could put Magic at PG and Pippen at SF. Good luck scoring on that team.

Yeah, I should have quoted your team from earlier; just easier to type it than to go back to find your team. Not sure why Frazier made the list, but give me the other four and just about any other PG of note and I'll take my chances. Where's Chris Paul on the list? Kidd? Payton?

MJ, LeBron, Duncan and Hakeem were/are ELITE on both ends during their primes.

Maybe you could take Frazier off, but it's a pretty good PG list.

You could argue Stockton belongs up there right behind Magic. I think not winning a title has really hurt both Stockton and Drexler's legacy in modern times. Both of those guys were all-timers. Stockton not only blows away everyone in assists but steals too. I know he played a long time but I think there's only 7 or 8 guys even within 1000 career steals of him.

Signing Ray Allen might end up being the biggest move the Heat have made these last couple years. He always seems to deliver.

By the way the Pacers are letting Bosh, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Toney Douglas and somebody else kick their ass while Wade and James on the bench.

Wow, such an exciting half. 42 points and 33 points at the half.

It must be nice to be the Heat and play in the JV conference and get to coast to the finals.

Frank Vogel should be fired. This team is horribly coached.

There run no semblance of an offense. The quick misses kill any momentum they build. They run down the shot clock and chuck up garbage shots because they don't run an offense.

Their defense is even more garbage. How do you consistently leave Ray Allen and Bosh open on the perimeter considering that's all they do at this point in their career?

Four fouls on Lebron with an entire half of basketball to play.

I mean, you gotta leave him in if you're the Heat, but geez. Talk about not playing at full strength.

Reggie Miller

Butler Bulldogs

Hoosiers
