RIP Paul Walker
http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/30/paul-w...al-fire-crash/
Paul Walker -- best known for his role in "The Fast and the Furious" movies -- died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California ... TMZ has learned. The accident happened in Santa Clarita -- north of Los Angeles -- and according to multiple sources connected to Paul ... the actor was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree ... and then the car burst into flames. Several of our sources -- some who are still at the scene of the accident -- tell us Paul and another person in the car were killed. Law enforcement is still on the scene, and we're told the L.A. County Coroner's Office is on the way. 1130_paul_walker_accident_scene_twitterAt this point, it's unclear what caused the accident, or who was behind the wheel when it happened. Paul was 40 years old. Sources close to Paul tell us he was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort, and had been taking friends out for rides in his new Porsche GT. The accident happened during one of those test spins. Read more: http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/30/paul-w...#ixzz2mBbZkyJy |

Maybe we should limit ourselves regarding bartering lives to offering our own selves in return for someone struck down, rather than take time out of mourning to catalog the dickbags you don't like as much as you did the newly deceased.

Here is a video of Top Gear showing off the Carrera GT. The Stig even has problems with it and took him a number of times to actually get a clean run out of it.

Like you can't rep and leave comments on posts through tapatalk like you can on the website, but other forums have this feature and others working just fine with tapatalk. That's why I assumed CP simply had not made the Site setup to be fully integrated with tapatalk and support for all the latest features and latest version? I don't know all the details behind getting it to play nice, I just know other message boards are much more integrated and available with a lot more features and capability than the current setup you can get with CP through tapatalk.

Far more of a commentary on the societal value of a nice guy who does he work professionally than a lamenting of the others. If everything you hear about the guy is good, he's probably a greater asset than the preternaturally gifted

I had no idea they were driving the Carrera GT.
There is no such thing as a perfect supercar. However, the Carrera GT has a dangerous reputation. Shortly after its release, critics were calling out the car over its handling – especially in cornering situations. The Carrera GT does not have stability control to correct (tail) slides or help prevent losing control. Formula 1 racecar driver, Lewis Hamilton’s father had crashed a Carrera GT. No one was hurt, although the car came close to totaled. Same for Jay Leno, who came dangerously close to hitting a wall, while spinning out his CGT at Talladega Superspeedway. Why was he there? Did he rent out the facility? Birmingham News had the video on their website. I cannot believe they bought this car. Porsche had some real handling issues that other supercars never had. Nevertheless, as they say, a good supercar wants to kill you – know your limits. Formula 1 fans have talked about the dangers of the CGT forever! Anthony Hamilton: "'This is my first crash in almost 30 years..." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...che-hedge.html
