Why Geno Smith fell in the draft
I've seen a couple other posts about this... but this probably deserves it's own thread considering how many hours we've wasted arguing about the guy. This is the first article I've seen theorizing why Geno fell in the draft. Time will tell whether it's accurate.

Back to the actual point of the OP, these reports look like bullshit, and I'm done listening to reports from anonymous sources bashing people's character. Also, everything I've heard about the agents tells me their petty losers. People fire their agents all the time without them whining to the media and smearing their former client. What desperate ****ing clowns.

I know Marcellus personally. He'd make over half this board shit their pants if he said these things to them face to face. But he'd never lay a hand on them. Real tough guys don't need to prove it. He's just speaking his mind.

We have all seen where the 1st round QB dominates the SB wins category. But I would imagine that it is less than 5% of 1st round QBs ever win a SB.

I don't know him personally, but I know he's saying smarter things than his critics are.

Austin nailed it in a thread last night. Battered fan syndrome. That's the only explanation to the irrational shit going around here right now. Just be glad you're not going through that shit. Angry fan is no fun at all.

Within Reid's system, I think ASmith will have more (OK, at least as many) 300 yard games this year alone than he has his entire career combined. I don't think people realize that in the past 10 years, the Eagles haven't thrown for less than 3500 yards in a season under Reid- even when they really, really sucked. I don't think Reid will finally say, "Whoa, now is the time to stop throwing the ball!" More likely he went out and got the one guy this year who, in his mind, could throw the ball that much--whether any Chiefs fan likes it or not. |

How many games has Sanchez won since those playoffs? He sure hasn't lead that team back without that running game and defense. Sanchez=Tebow at least Tebow didn't and wouldn't have buttfumbled. #5 overall pick getting replaced by...... wait for it..........that is right Geno Smith. OUCH bet that leaves a mark on mark. Got to hand it to those USC QBs they really are something.

Yeah Tebow made a play or two to win the Donkos a playoff game. One year.
