The MIA Heat Show Thread

LA will be dethroned. The LAC Lake Show will be dead. So it's time to create a thread to follow the new dynasty.

Going on tour starting this October.

I'd throw Bird/Mchale in there and even though they never got a ring Stockton/Malone were one of the best combos.

Wade/LB have potential but as we know potential is just another word for haven't done it yet. Those guys haven't played a minute together in the League so who knows? However if they do manage to mesh as a team Miami will be very good.

The thing is, DJ's left nut really layed out the rough blueprint for taking these guys out f their game with the zone defense.

Force the play on the perimeter and you take much of their game away, and complementing each other becomes problematic.

really? huh i thought the magic laid tyat blueprint against lebron two years ago....

still lebron can slash to the rim and bull guys over like he does and kick the ball to wade.

wades a better shooter than what he was working with before.

and now should be the time someone sits lebron down and emphasizes his work on the post game.

i also find it amusing that the only people bashing these moves are lakers/kobe fans. every other person has talked about how they are going to be pretty good....

confident people dont have to say anything.

Wade is not a shooter. He's a penetrator, just like Lebron.

LeBron has been in the league 7 years. He hasn't developed anything close to a post game. He's pretty much the same player he's been since he stepped into the league. His body has developed, and his shot has slightly improved, but that's about it.

It's a ****ing message board where people debate topics.

If you think Laker fans are the only ones bashing these moves then you must live under a rock.

I don't know that i'm bashing the move, though I don't think it's going to work like many/most think it will.

I'm also not a Kobe fan.

But I recognize what he brings to the court when the games count the most.

I was a Kings fan when I was younger, but they moved so lost my interest as a fan.

I watch hoops because I like BB, but am not really a fan of any particular team.

I'm happy he went to South Beach. I've hated LeBron for years and all everyone has said to defend him is he didn't have a supporting cast.

So when he fails with this one, all the people who have disliked LeBron from the get-go will get the satisfaction because there can't be a single excuse left for him. Some Heat fan will likely have the nerve to say that the C and PG positions were garbage, but no one can dispute that LeBron has played with talent again.

BUT what happens if they win it all? do the guys that hated him the beginning use THAT to dog him some more?

i mean you listed all of the other greats with the guy they needed to win, why should lebron be any different?

i mean to win one now as a lesser duo against a great team like the lakers obviously are ( just read this thread if you dont already know) would be something spectacular right?

i hope if that happens some people dont still find a reason yo bitch about this situation

If those two went to Chicago (with that existing roster), I would be saying they would have a great chance to unseat my Lakers this year...trouble is that roster in Chicago is WAYYYYYY deeper and better than what they went to in Miami.

Its not even close.
