**** OFFICIAL 2015 Flopnut's Fatties Weight-loss Thread****

We didn't do it last year but we did it two years ago and I'm bringing it back. Post in here if you want to drop some poundage and I'll add you to the main post. Set yourself a goal and then post in here to be held accountable. If you want....we can track your weight-loss all year long and then crown a winner at the end of the year. I know in the past that posters have put up prizes (not necessary).

Let's do this shit....

FYI: This is not a thread to start arguments over which way is the best way to lose weight. There are different ways for different people. Keep the stupid shit out of this thread.

I'm really glad you brought it up because I never would've thought of it and I love hummus. So I'm a really happy guy right now. I've sacrificed plenty. Good to get something back. I'm eating phad Thai here pretty soon. Oatmeal, eggs, Cottage cheese, and salad be damned. I'm upping my dinner game tomorrow or the next day.

I have decided that instead of doing other things I mine as well just work out. Being fat sucks and instead of having short term fun just get your work out game strong. Fun will come in time.

Realistic goal of 250lbs before my wedding in October.

Weighing tomorrow after a week. Had a pretty good weekend. Only drank 4 beers total all weekend, which is excellent for me. Did have some mixed drinks, but I'm not as worried about those as the beer.

Abstained from pizza night with the kids on Friday and had a chicken breast and salad instead. Didn't really overeat all weekend, and that's a pretty big accomplishment for me. It's easy for me to stay disciplined during the week, but I often get crazy on the weekend and diminish my hard work.

Oh, also worked out 7 of last 8 days.

Weighed this morning. 198.

I have been somewhat broke so I didn't drink over the weekend which helps tremendously.

I need some advice. In checking my upcoming schedule, I will have overtime the first two weeks in February (due to the restaurant industry gearing up for V-day,12 hour days) and in March I start my teacher cert course which will require several hours a day (for 8 months) on top of work. How do you guys do it? I mean, after I work I have zero energy to do much of anything. I do work online so I don't have the transit time to worry about, but how the hell do you keep the motivation up?

Picked up some of this shit this last weekend.

http://www.gnc.com/nuts-n-more-Peanu...uctId=50241276

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but the macros look damn good.

2 tbsps = 188 calories, 12g fat, 14g protein with 6 carbs and 5 dietary fiber (1 net carb). They've got it in different flavors as well. Pumpkin spice....chocolate.

Little on the expensive side at $10.

Try to find something that you actually enjoy doing that is also exercise. I could never make myself exercise for the sake of exercising, I'm way too lazy. Hiking, though, I look forward to doing every day.
