Who is going to get this when it comes out???? Last year's version was really disappointing so I will be sure to rent Madden 09 first before buying it.

I'm 2-0 in online play, with wins coming against Denver, and SD, and they are two of the most joyless wins in Madden I have ever had because the game sucks Boaws.

The views, and camera angles are horrible. Especially on receptions. The rubbing off defenders, and jumpy screens just make it an overall "Meh" experience.

Well, you're better off skipping it to begin with and let each individual game determine your IQ. Basically, start at the 500 and move it up (heh, or down) by playing your first game on All Madden, and then immediately switching to your own level. That's what I did and it's been pretty good IMO.

The pass D in this game is atrocious. Combined with the super accurate CPU QBs and the fact that olines still don't block result in gameplay that is just flat out broken. Typical from EA though, they would rather focus on flashy ideas that they can market like the Madden IQ (which is also broken) then actually build a game engine that results in quality gameplay. NHL is the only quality sports title they make.

The animations in this game are godawful. I cannot count how many times I've had defenders literally reach THROUGH my receivers, then pull the ball back through them, to pick off the ball.
