Nike, New uniform provider for NFL, 2012.

As some of you may already know. Nike will take over Reebok's job at providing uniforms for NFL teams. Nike plans on changing or adding to Team's current UNI look. This new deal between Nike and NFL will start at the beginning of the 2012 season. BEFORE anyone starts looking up Team's new nike uniforms. All the ones made on Google or on the internet are not official and just "fan made". The release date of these new uniforms should be somewhere in one of these articles...

Seahawks Nike uni's are not there.

Then I saw this on ESPN..

Quote:
Most teams are not redesigning their logos or color combinations. Nike uses different fabric than previous supplier Reebok. The Nike uniforms are expected to be more form-fitting. The difference will be noticeable, but not as profound as they would be with individual team redesigns. The NFL is basically unveiling Nike's version of existing uniforms.
The Seattle Seahawks are expected to unveil completely new uniforms. It's been about a decade since the team's most recent redesign. Seattle is the only team, to my knowledge, expected to unveil a redesign.
Some teams could have new alternate jerseys.

Basically the improvement the Giants made several years back. And their Unis look good.

But appears I'm in the minority of liking that idea.

Those shorts are pretty sweet.
Agreed. Great example, the Giants. The majority of Chiefs merchandise now features red/white (and even grey, now) far more prominently than red/yellow. And it looks sharp. And a red/white/grey combo would differentiate ourselves from the 49ers. Hell, we could even ditch the black in the logo easily. It's easier and more aesthetically pleasing than trying to force yellow into it.

I'm hearing rumors of grey in the logo, substituting for one of the blues. And I like that. I'd like for silver to return to their uniforms.

Sounds good to me, too much blue in the current scheme.

Some kind of strange pattern down the middle of the Seahawks helmet. I can't make out what it is, but it's not on the other howling wolf helmet shirts.

Looks like Jags got the most variety. I don't even care. If they make us play better or ESPN makes fun of us, that's at least more exposure then we've had in years.
