Good recovery by Kansas tonight. Hope Baylor shows up at MU, and I hope there's a Big 12 officiating crew, instead of refs primarily employed by the SEC, MVC and Southland Conferences.

Baylor truly makes one wonder how they are ranked, or were ranked #6? They have now been beaten by the two other top teams in the Big 12 on their court. Frankly I thought they looked like shit. I won't take anything for granted but if they don't rebound like a mother ****er, MU should stomp them. Their shooting sucks, their ball movement sucks and their zone defense has holes.

Well, that's exactly it... before tonight, they had only lost two games, and they were against #5 and #7. SoS is 14th, and they have top 5 talent... they just don't play like a team.

Indeed, this win by KU must be due to the fact that KU isn't that good as much as Baylor must be that bad.

C'mon gang. Baylor is a damn good team this year. By attributing this to Baylor being overrated, you're diminishing KU's road win. Seriously.

It is a great win. There's a reason Baylor had only lost two games all year before now, they're extremely talented.

Like I said, I think Baylor has top 5 talent... maybe even top 1 or 2, but they are soft and lazy, and don't play as a team. It doesn't take away from KU's dominance of a good part of the game, and it's a good road win... one KU needed, but Saul nailed it...

It always ends the same way. When they can overwhelm an opponent with talent, the win and look great doing it. When they run into a talented team that plays well together, they fold at the first sign of adversity and suddenly turn into 5 guys just trying to get theirs. 22 points on 6-21 shooting in a 16 point loss just means they scored 22 points, and that's all that matters to those guys. Lacedarius Dunn was the master of that, and now Drew has a whole team of guys with that mentality. That can work when you have NBA talent 7 deep with 4 lottery picks, but Baylor isn't there.

Conference championship is going to come down to some road games versus the tier 2 teams.

Tier one teams this year: Mizzou, Kansas, Baylor
Tier two teams: Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahomas State, Texas
Tier three teams: Oklahoma, TT, TAMU

Obviously, Oklahoma can surprise some teams (KSU). Okie State can surprise some teams (ISU, Mizzou).

All things being equal, I see a conference championship split, but if Baylor can beat Mizzou at Mizzou, it opens up the door for Kansas.

This end run in the Big 12 will be one of the most interesting home stretches the conference has ever seen.

Great win. I am not going to bash it, if you diminish the road win for Kansas, you diminish it for Mizzou as well, since they are the only other team to beat Baylor in Waco this year. Baylor has played really well at home this year.

Agreed. If Baylor's ever going to get pissed off and start playing hard... it'll be Saturday. This game's HUGE for Mizzou. We're gonna need the crowd to be fired up, and the team to kick 'em in the teeth. Give them a reason to quit.
