The Buccaneers contacted the 49ers about trading Jeff Garcia. 49ers said they weren't interested but the question arises, although I know Herm/Carl won't do it. I'm kind of on the fence about it cause I don't think he'll improve the team that much.

Do you give a conditional pick to Tampa Bay for Jeff Garcia based on his performance?

What does it matter? They are a sub-500 team, probably a bottom 5 team. Rebuilding or no, we should be at least competetive with the other bottom 5 teams- don't you agree?

Hmmm. It's getting clearer now. The QB situation is a setup. It has been from the get-go. A strawman that's just waiting to be deployed in operation "Save Herm's Job".

It's so obvious. Herm can buy himself at least one more year of abject failure by throwing Croyle to the media dogs and bringing in another guy. His only concern is that he has to get the timing just right. He can't make the move too early, or it won't get him an additional, full season. So, he'll either wait until late this year or, depending on our record, until the off-season when he'll go after a guy in FA or the draft. Meanwhile, he gets a total pass due to the fact that we're a "rebuilding" project at quarterback is just one of the pieces. It's brilliant.

As I've said before, 0-2 isn't the problem. The problem is the way they lost to another bottom of the barrel team. LJ into Niswangers ass again after last week? Hagans in to run the option? I agree.

The chiefs absolutely were hammered by miami wire to wire. ok, it's the preseason. not competitive against oakland. probably same with atlanta next week.

these are 5 or 6 win teams at best, and we are making them look like they are clearly better than us.

when you lose to Oakland, you can't look at any game on the schedule and think you have a good chance for a win.

This team is unquestionably worse than last year's supposed worst case scenario.

I think we are following the Charger's plan for rebuilding. Suck for a long time, get 5 years worth of high draft picks, then bring in a HC that can do something with them.

Just 3 more seasons to go...
