Again, these are the types of moves we need. He's solid but not spectacular. But he provides leadership to the young guys. Goff is a hard worker and is a professional and will provide a good example in the locker room.

I was gonna start a thread about Goff the other day but figured he'd just get shit on. What cracks me up is the sudden change of heart of this board. These types of moves are worthwhile now, but the last few years it's better to have piece of shit practice squad fodder in there as long as they're not older than 25. Just goes to show how you can practically sell anything to the fans in this town.

I think if you're gonna sign Mike Vrabel and Monty Beisel on one side of the football there's no reason not to give guys like Goff and Kevin Schaeffer a look on the other side.

He would be a good pickup. Lets face it. We were 2-14 last year. EVERY player that is willing to visit here is worth a look.

Well, if you were going to sign an older linemen, you'd be much better off to have made a move at Tauscher or Stinchcomb, who play a position of more value that we have a worse performer at.

If we wanted to target a WR, choose a guy like Reggie Williams who will have upside. Low risk, very high reward.

Bullshit. On average he's given up less than 2 sacks a year throughout his entire career. Hell, even if you only count seasons in which he started every game he played, he still gave up less than 2 sacks a game.

He's a ****ing guard, not a left tackle. Since when are guards ever judged by sacks allowed?
