Again - take away any of those elite QBs and those teams aren't winning half their games (most likely).

I guess what I'd be looking for is what separates any of those QBs from the others this year in regards to the MVP race?

They're all equally consistent.
They all dominate 1-2 areas of the key statistical categories.
Two have 11 wins and two have 10 wins.

All but Luck (2) has at least 3 road losses, Rodgers has 4. Packers are the only one that have not won their division yet, they're tied with the Lions.

W/L Completion % YDS TD INT YPA QBR

11-3 / 67.1 / 4143 / 37 / 11 / 8.03 / 106.4
11-3 / 64.4 / 3847 / 32 / 8 / 7.25 / 99.8
10-4 / 64 / 3837 / 35 / 5 / 8.38 / 111.2
10-4 / 61.4 / 4492 / 38 / 14 / 7.77 / 97.5

Those are the stats for the 4 contending QBs in this race (leader in bold) ... I don't really see a gap that creates enough distance with one over another. That's why I voted Murray, he's by far and away the best and most consistent RB this year and he's the reason Dallas isn't sucking.

Each of those 4 QBs are rock solid, each has had big wins and crap losses and each has been pretty consistent, obviously.

This is likely true. However, Watt has been ridiculous this year. He absolutely deserves it.

I get why ... feels like it's his turn, I guess and he's having a great season. I just don't see the separation from the others (Brady/Manning).

Brady and Alex Smith are both ahead of Peyton Manning at this point. I think.

Such a graceful slider. We should have sent him home in the 9th inning of game 7. He totally would have slid in safe for the tie

For me its Murray. Hands down. He's singlehandedly dragged the Dallas Cowboys franchise kicking and screaming back to relevancy. If he's able to play normally with the hand, he'll likely surpass Emmit Smith's Cowboys Franchise record for rushing yards in a season.

Without him, Dallas isn't even 8-8 this year.

The fact that the guy broke his hand, and the entire organization was balls out to not rule him out of the next game tells you how important this guy is.

If the guy can draw breath and move forward carrying a football, the Cowboys are fielding DeMarco Murray.

He's my vote.

Last week was the first week all year Demarco Murray's Cowboys beat a team over .500.

They beat the Seahawks early in the year. ESPN says the Hawks were 3-2 at the time.

They're only being that way because they don't have any other "between the tackles" style runners. As stated previously in the thread, he's not being touched until he's already got a good amount of yardage. The MVP of the Cowboys is not Murray, and it's not Romo. It's the five men blocking for them.

If they had any other back that could run between the tackles, they would have no problem sitting Murray to heal his hand.

If Houston were a better team, I'd give Watt a shot at this one... but it's an offense focused league and those other teams are winning, so I just don't see him falling in the top 4. I think he's the token 'non-offense' guy.
