Beware. This is also the same argument people use against Bray.

Jeff Tuel was pretty bad at Washington State IMO. He was lost in the game against the Browns, but to be fair he came in off an injury [to Manuel] and probably had no practice reps leading up to the Thursday night game (short week.)
Thad Lewis is a "gamer" with some skills and is not afraid to take shots. He was our third-string guy for a couple years under Shurmur (man I hate typing Shurmur). While he might turn the ball over a couple times he at least is willing to try to make the play to get points. Tuel seems to be more conservative and is definitely more physically limited than Lewis. If I were playing against the Bills again I'd rather see Tuel in there than Lewis. JMPOV. Last edited by CleveSteve; 10-30-2013 at 11:48 AM.. Reason: added bracketed text. |

Apparently he completed 72% of his passes this preseason. Apparently he's not THAT bad.

8/20 for 80 yards, 1 INT/ 0 TD and sacked twice in a quarter and a half against the Browns. 13 yards was his longest pass.
