-- How do you feel about lice?
Have any of you ever experienced lice in life? Can you actually feel them wiggling up there? How did you contract lice? How did you get rid of them?

I don't think I've ever had lice (thankfully) - although one time I think I saw one.

Do they typically fly around or just stay stationary?

Just wondering - Pretty sure we never had a lice thread & it's not like we have a good football team to talk about.

Tell me some of the stories you've experienced involving lice.

Just reading this thread made me scratch my head.

I have never had it, but my daughter has come home with it when she was in 3-5 age range twice.

Apparently young kids are susceptible and when they are in public situations like daycare or camp they hug each other and it spreads.

After 5 we have never had an issue.

Being from St. Joseph I used to substitute teach from time to time. The classes would be full during the morning then look like survivors from Hamburger Hill second half of the day.

I know one mom that had to use olive oil to pull the individual eggs off her daughters hair. The shampoo doesn't get those. I know I should have helped her but I don't know what good throwing up would have done.
