On opening day I wonder how many people will cheer for Rich Gannon?

I hope our fans don't insult our new QB and coaching staff along with our other players by doing so. We should boo him and the Raiders for the scum they are. Yea Green boo Gannon.

Sounds like a good idea.

Though I must admit that the last one of these things I saw was when Johnny Damon came back to town. I thought the fans cam off a classless. Same sort of thing with Booing Gannon it really would not make sense. He really didn't do anything the rest of us would not now if we were in his shoes. Having said that, I do think the news paper thing or silence thing would be very cool.

Booing Gannon would make sense; he plays for the Raiders...

It's booing the people on our own team that doesn't make sense.

Booing Rich Gannon would just serve as another embarrassment in a string of embarrassments that started when Carl Peterson replaced Rich Gannon with Elvis Grlbac. Why act like a CowTown when everyone across the nation thinks we're a CowTown already?

I, for one, am educated and civilized and will clap respectfully when the Raiders are introduced. As their host, it's the polite thing to do.

I'll cheer and clap for Trent and urge our first year QB to learn from the Raiders' veteran QB, Rich Gannon. I'm excited that our season opener is against the Raiders.

When we're on defense, Trent can focus on watching Rich Gannon's every move so he might learn to become a savvy, elusive veteran like Rich!

I'm all cheered out for Rich. I cheered for him in the past, but that was more of an anti-cheer for Kurt and his STUPID defensive schemes and for Carl for keeping Grreerun over Rich. Now, I'll cheer for Hicks and Clemons to SMASH him to the turf on EVERY snap! He is NOT a Chief anymore and must PAY!

"Rich" will be "Gusa'd" by week 8

It has become obvious that Gannons antics in the backfield will only get him so far. If he trys that crap this year he will regret it.

ken man

once you've had silver and black.....your scum

Gannon got his cheers here as a Raider once already. That was applause to show him how much he was admired here by the fans when he was a Chief. I thought that was pretty classy of the fans to do that ONCE. Now I say bring on the boos !! As for the silent treatment I think what you would hear is a lot of rowdy Raiders fans cheering, and being heard. Why give them that satisfaction ?

Are you dissin' small farming communities? Dunno if the rest of ya know....but they are one of the best places to live, especially as a teen. I live in a "cowtown" and I love it, after I get to and through college I plan on moving back to raise my children as "ignorantly" as thier father was. I guess us "ignorant" "cowtown folk" just aren't sophisticated enough for you more civilized "big city folk". I will now sit here and wait for you and your "sophisticated" "big city" friends to attempt genocide over my "ignorant" "uncivilized" "cowtown folk"....YA A$$!!!( SORRY, HAD TO LIVE UP TO MY "IGNORANT, UNCIVILIZED, COWTOWN FOLK" STEREOTYPE):D

Aturnis, it's not a knock on small towns, Kansas City is often referred to as "Cow Town" by people who don't know any better.

Or those from towns who have more gang members than cattle.....

Sorry, I'll take the smell and the extra beef. I prefer Angus getting slaughtered, not the natives...:D
