I think this game is more of a statement of where we are than where you are.

SD is not very good this year.

We are the beetles that roll balls of elephant $3it to lay our eggs in...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

If your defense had a faced a real, NFL caliber QB, it could have been a completely different outcome.

Cassel has no shame, nor love for the team, if he did he'd ****ing quit & let someone else try.

Yeah, I've got to say, I was a little surprised that the Chargers were only up by 14 in the 3rd Q, after getting 6 turnovers, some with a really short field. Heck, if the Chiefs had a QB the lead would've been down to 7 with a quarter to play when Bowe was running wide open down field and Cassel missed him.

So, the Chargers are okay, it'll be between them and Denver for the west, but they're nothing special.

Denver is going to wind up being pretty good, imo. Defense isn't bad and Peyton is going to be Peyton.

Hell, they won a playoff game with Tebow at QB.

Sandyeggo is Meh.

The AFC ain't what it used to be.

Weddle is good for at least one pick per game on Cassel. Really like Butler, Liguet and Gilchrist; young studs on D. Gaither at OT and Battle at RB, knew they would show against KC. Phil is Phil, give him time and you will pay. Mathews is a little kitty cat. Lacking legit #1 WR. Floyd is nice but not a true #1.

Chargers are a 8 to 9 win team probably. Your offense was total meh and won't win you shit. Defense looked decent; but you still let Charles average 5.4 ypc on you; so not that great. And you had the good fortune to face Matt Cassel in the passing game.

A. If it weren't for that ****ing run where he was caught 5 yards deep in the backfield and then busted a 45 yard TD run, the ypc would have been worse.

B. That's well under his career YPC
