Chiefs Would you accept a uniform change? - Page 2

I used to be 100% against the idea of changing our uniforms. But let's face it, they're played out and just reek of mediocrity and awfulness. I think a change would be welcome now. Even if it's not a major change. At the very least, the yellow has got to go. We look like Ronald McDonald rolled around in ketchup and mustard.

Shoot - we have the tradition of the AFL. If anything I'd LOVE for the BIG ARROWHEAD to find its way back on the helmets. That's just my opinion - you of course are welcome to yours.

Yes I would.

I don't believe there is any great tradition tied to these uniforms. The Chiefs my whole life have been mostly average.

I'm not saying overhaul them. The home unies are actually pretty good. But make a few subtle changes.

- Lose the disco away pants.
- Change that yellow to a more goldish color. And have less of it.
- Our Logo has black in it, just add a touch of black trim somewhere. Should be subtle.

Use Stanford's colors so Luck doesn't have to adjust too much. Lets make the transition as easy as possible.

Not really. You just replace the yellow on the sleeves and stripes on the pants/socks and it's the same uniform they are wearing now, minus the hideous yellow.

By comparasion...Let's use blue as an example... your point consists of basically telling me there is only one team that wears blue and their uniforms look the same?

The Falcons made a HUGE turn around after changing their helmets from red to black... just saying.

Thanks and I respect your opinion, as well. I just think we could make it more modern and lose the yellow. The team would also benefit from having a new revenue stream from the proceeds of fans wanting the new merchandise, which, in my mind, gives us more revenue to build the team.

Plus, a change is sometimes good.

I might be open to moving the numbers off the sleeves to the top of the shoulder pads. Then adding an arrowhead to the side of the sleeves. The colors can't change IMO.
