Need recommendation: Cashew Chicken, Springfield MO
So, I have a very good friend going through a tough spot in life. We were talking today and I told him I need to run to Springfield on Wednesday. He sort of hinted he could ride along and that he had heard Springfield is like the mecca for cashew chicken.

I know zero about cashew chicken but he was so into it, I said, ride with me, grab a lunch after I get my business done and be home by 430

So.....now that Im committed, give me your best shot where to go for lunch

Hong Kong Inn is very good. Canton Inn is good. Chinese Chef on Sunshine is also very good. Peking House is good. Lots of folks go nuts for Lucy's, but I think they are average--they are the closest thing to a chain in town.

Jade East was the bomb, but I don't think they are around any more--I know the one on the north side closed, not sure about the one on the south side.

Tough to go wrong.

I second this. Hit up Cashew Chicken for lunch and get some Villa for dinner on the way out of town. Always hit up the original one on National when I am in town (the other locations around town are good too, but there is something about the original hole in the wall location that is just better)

So, it’s Canton Inn.

My bud is so stoked. Ugly divorce, issues with the boss. But has a heart of gold. Had an eye ripped out in a farm accident a few years ago. Just like he is cursed. I’m excited to drag him tomorrow to get my business done in Nixa, then awesomely great lunch. Maybe force a Brahms malt in him on way home Thank you all!!

It's probably too late but for me Pine Garden has the best Cashew Chicken in town. It's located at Elfindale on W. Sunshine.

As someone who spent a few years in SGF, I never understood the obsession with the cashew chicken there. Had it a couple different places and it was the equivalent of any grocery store Chinese.

The Villa on the other hand ... a gem no doubt.
