I can't really blame you. The Wizards are your primary point of reference, and even at their best, the most entertaining games they're involved in are when they're trying to disrupt an attack-oriented team. Toss in the awful atmosphere of Arrowhead (quite possibly the worst in the league, especially when they play those idiotic sound effects over the PA), and it's unpleasant (at best) all the way around. The Wiz front office is utterly pathetic, and definitely deserve a lot of the blame for KC's current situation.

The game against DC today was excruciatingly painful in all areas (United deserves some of the blame for showing up and being only "vaguely interested in playing soccer today," as one fan put it), and it's times like these when I think it might not be such a bad thing to have the Wizards move to San Antonio and get a clean slate.

My primary point of reference, in the Metro area, would be the Kansas City Comets. My parents had season tickets and the Leiwickie Bros. put on a show back in the late 80's. Lasers, fireworks, Toto blaring over the loudspeakers... not to mention Gino Schiraldi, Enzo Dipede (sp), and later Tatu. When St. Louis came into Kemper, it rocked. I remember 15, 16 thousand showing up back then.

That's my point of reference. I'm wondering the true motive of the post?

Get the Wizards there own soccer stadium over in Kansas somewhere, then they might be worth going to. Arrowhead is awesome for football, and it would be good if the World Cup came here but not for MLS. Also get rid of soccer from Arrowhead, we can put FieldTurf in.
