Jarvis Jones is somehow supposed to be the missing piece in a 43 defense for the Chiefs? No ****ing way. The Chiefs can't play 43 because they have no 43 pass rusher. Tamba would be a no fit - cut, Bailey might be a 43 rusher, maybe. nah. They got nobody for 43RDE.
Hell, now that fatass Dorsey has been replaced with Ropati, the DL is playing quite a bit better in pass pressure. Cousins is a good QB, but what are you giving up for this guy? **** that. Draft a couple QB's this coming year and get motoring with the 34. Sign Bowe and get somebody in here to coach this team up again. And keep drafting QB's. **** FA -- its a wasteland of has beens and pussies.

Jon Gruden? Funny.

That was the only part I agreed with, except that he'd never come here.
Again, gruden hasn't just looked at the spread. He has been studying it intensely. I think people think he's going to come back with a stale offense when in reality, he will probably come with a pretty innovative scheme. I'd much rather gruden than cowher, as long as gruden doesn't insist on Tampa 2, which I think he's smart enough to not do. |

Gruden went through 11tybillion QB's at Tampa.
I don't know if this is a great thing or a bad thing. |

It's pretty simple.
1. Fire Pioli and the entire coaching staff, replacing them with any GM/coach who never had anything to do with the cursed tree. 2. Re-sign Bowe and Albert. 3. Sign another WR, a safety, a backup QB, a backup RB, and a RE. 4. Draft a franchise QB #1 and BPA across the board. 5. Lower prices of parking/seats to restore Arrowhead Magic. Boom. |

1. Jon Gruden is lke RAC -- the game has passed him by
2. Good idea to draft someone in an area of strength, rather than draft someone where there is a gaping, bottomless, chasm lack of talent at the most important position on the team (sarcasm) 3. Kirk Cousins did a good job replacing RGIII. Matt Cassel did a good job rplacing Tom Brady. Matt Flynn did a good job replacing Aaron Rodgers. Beware the few game replacements. Also, Washington wants a fortune for him. 4. Switching back, just as we get rid of our last 4-3talent (Dorsey) makes no real sense. It takes a couple of years wrth of draft picks to accomplish and likely means getting rid of anumber of talented 3-4 players. 5. Neutral on this. |
