Just noticed your sig. You have CoMoChief on ignore? You're missing some comedy gold there. (Probably a good call on Prison Bitch though.)

While I'm happy that Ventura s getting a shot, I hope he's not being put in a bad situation. Alot of pressure to put on him for a big league debut.

We could pretty much throw an entire bullpen game. So as long as Ned pulls him an inning before his gut tells him to, I'm good with Ventura going tonight.

It's ballsy, I hope I'm wrong and we win. We have been pretty good this year making the right roster moves for the most part, even Frenchy was platooned after April and we replaced Getz with 3 diff guys during the year. Replace Dozer for Chen, moved Davis into the pen etc. I think Dayton has been doing as we'll as he can for the most part

In case anyone is interested Omaha and the Durham Bulls are playing the championship game in AAA on the NBCSN channel. Don't know if its a series or just one game. I just stumbled upon it. Oh and Jake Odorizzi is pitching for Durham.

Tampa Bay over Texas for sure.

I'm rooting for Red Sox, Blue Jays, and Rays. There are differing opinions on who we want to win Rays-Rangers. I don't want the Rangers to win because we can't get any closer to the wild card this evening regardless of what we do if they win. Currently though they are blowing out the Rays 5-0.

I'd rather be 1.5 out of the second wildcard with a win than 2.5 out of both wildcards should we win. If we lose we're 3.5 out of both should the Rangers win. To me that is the real danger in rooting for Texas. If they win we absolutely can not lose or we're in big trouble.

It is more than just that. Tampa's schedule stays difficult to the end. Texas' schedule gets easier after they leave KC. We need Texas to lose as much as possible now as they will likely be picking up wins at the end. Tampa can win now because they will likely be picking up losses as they go on.
