Prayer Request What a bad day - Page 2

Went to work yesterday and had a seizure. The store I was at was about an hour away from my house and they called my wife who came to get me.

While she was on her way I had another seizure. This time I hit the safe hard causing several injuries including a blood filled right ear that I still can't hear out of.

I never had this problem, mostly because I got plenty of sleep, but this looks more and more like my drinking days are officially done.

Unfortunately more than I probably needed to. That being said, when they took my blood at the hospital around 2 in the afternoon I still had 3 percent alcohol in my system even though I quit drinking around 2 am.

Let me preface by saying what I didn't, I do have epilepsy but it is for the most part controlled.

I didn't realize that either.....maybe if you have some kind of predisposition to them? I mean if it was just drinking and staying up late, high school and college would be full of everyone seizuring out.

And not drinking isn't that big of a deal, I stopped drinking about 4 years ago life isn't any different.

well, take care of yourself dude. Are you still in the restaurant business? It can be tough to stop when your in that profession and it's everywhere, every night

My ex started having seizures due to the laundry list of different narcotics he was taking. I came home one day to find him passed out in a pool of blood with my daughter on his chest trying to wake him up.

Not even that episode made him want to stop. I'm glad you're far more in control of yourself.

I'm sure your doctors made you aware, but be careful if you are planning to cut it cold turkey, it can lead to all kinds of complications, including death.

Ha not really, I drink far more soda than I ever did beer...now not ever drinking soda again would be very hard for me to do.

I'm actually going to see my doctor today so I will definitely bring that up.
