Just Picked Up New Puppy!

With the dreadful season that the Chiefs are having this year, we needed a little pick-me-up in the family. My 19yr old moved out in July so we thought a family addition would be nice. So, I just got back from getting our 6 week old Cairn Terrier.

Cute little bugger and I will post a pic when I get a chance so all of you "worthless without pics" clowns, hold your horseys. Now, I need to come up with a good name.

Bob, tell Soph that she'd really like this guy!

What a sweetie........they are smart. I hope you enjoy all the fun they bring to a life.........aka......chewing furniture for one. Been a long time since I had a pup, but my Sheltie that I have left was the only one of my dogs to chew the end off my dresser and her chewie was sitting right there too! Hey she will be 15 in Sept, so who cares......she's moms baby.

Working on that now. Hey, I won't be coming out for the Xmas game but maybe Denver. Since they moved the donkey game to noon, could I catch rides from airport Sat. night and out after the game Sunday night (about 6-7pm)? I have to be home and at work Monday morning.

The best friend I ever had was a Cairn terrier. I had a 150 acre farm and she just showed up one day. She went with me wherever I went. Then one day my house burned down while she was out hunting and I lost track of her. Two months later I moved a travel trailer back onto the property and Sissy promptly showed up. She had lived off the land (catching rabbits I guess) for two months without aid from humans (I guess). I didn't think any dog could live off the land nowadays and Sissy only weighed 6-7 pounds.

I was thinking about getting a Border Terrier. Why did you go with a Cairn Terrier? I sure is cute.
