I think it's interesting that from browsing the Mane.... most Bronco fans seem quicker to turn on Sharpe rather than Shanahan. I guess I'm kind of surprised by that...

After all the times in his career that Shannon was responsible for pissing off Raider fans by handing them a loss, I am beyond giddy with the fact that the Broncos losing to the Raiders pissed him off that much.

Amen...
Sharpe makes some great points about “shutdown” corners and how you defend the pass in the modern NFL. xoxo~ Gaz Likes what he heard. |

Whycome? Is that a real word?
I cannot give you transcription, because I cannot spell some of the sounds that came out of him. But here is the gist of Shannon Sharpes’ comments on pass Defense in the modern NFL: The rules have changed. You don’t need a “shutdown corner.” If a QB is upright when the ball leaves his hand, he will find the target 60-70% of the time. Why pay Cornerbacks “this kinda money” when really can’t do anything? You better go get you some Defensive Linemen. You better go get you some Linbackers that can get after the QB. Put the QB on the ground, because no QB completes a pass when he is on the ground. If you leave the QB upright, you could have 10 Champ Baileys and it would do no good. The new PI rules make marginal WRs a whole lot better. xoxo~ Gaz A little disappointed to find himself in agreement with Sharpe. |

Nothing we haven't said. Shanny fooked up bringing Plummer to Donkeys land. Maybe Plummer is just cursed.
