One year later....TO wants a new contract.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2031463
TO is ready for another payday, just one year after siging a contract with the Eagles. I guess he wants another dose of that 10 mil signing bonus he got last year. What a piece of crap. I never want that scumbag playing for the Chiefs. I'd rather the team suck. |

He did exactly what he was paid to do, and he was paid exactly what he agreed to. What did he do to earn a new contract?

Not at all. When Priest Holmes had his breakout year, I felt he deserved a new contract, which he got. I would say the same with other players that are making at or near the league minimum that produce in a manner FAR beyond the comparable dollar value of the contract. Owens was hired on as a top name receiver. Although his number of receptions last season was his lowest since 1999, and his yards were second lowest in the past 5 seasons, he is still a top receiver. He got his $10 mill, he certainly hasn't done anything over and above that signing bonus.

What do you consider big time? What did he do last year that should garner him a bigger paycheck than already agreed upon? I would rather think like Lamar than Daniel Snyder. |

Its contagious for arrogant recievers.
First its Joe Horn, then TO and now Keyshawn....greedy bastigens! ![]() ![]() Cowboys | K. Johnson Upset With Current Contract? - from www.KFFL.com Wed, 6 Apr 2005 18:58:04 -0700 ESPN's Ed Werder reports Dallas Cowboys WR Keyshawn Johnson recently missed three days of team workouts. When head coach Bill Parcells called him to find out why he was not there, Johnson indicated he was not happy with his current contract. Johnson's agent, Jerome Stanley, only would confirm his client missed practice and would only say it was for "personal reasons." |

Despite the fact that I hate TO and he's an unbelievable prick he was out-****ing-standing this year.
You think about what he did for the Eagles last year, plus the fact he didn't cash his chips in after just crunching his leg, and then making it back for the superbowl (which NO ONE thought he'd do) and being productive and dangerous on top... Wow.
