What's the delay in getting Herm under contract? - Page 2

As of Friday morning, Carl had settled the compensation issue with the Jets and was free to negotiate with Edwards. Here it is Sunday and the two long-time buddies still haven't sealed the deal. What's the problem?

I'm guessing Carl is trying to negotiate Gunther into the equation, and Herm's resisting.

Or maybe it's just a money issue.

Hey guys relax. Tomorrow I will sign off on this deal and Herm will be the coach. My son had a basketball game this weekend, so we had to delay the signing.

They got hung up in the money aspect....CP used the F word and Herm stormed out.

I heard it on 810.
