I got the same thing so I switched to Mozilla and everything has been fine since.

That was a manifestation of the Apache upgrade. Apache temporarily didn't know how to serve up files with the .php extension.

In firefox, it's under Tools, options, privacy, cache. In IE, it's under Tools, internet options, delete files.
