Lame Scoring Celebrations at Arrowhead = we lose a bit of our luster...

Wow. So, they tried the POD Boom, and they really tried the Red song by Sammy Haggar, and they both REALLY sucked.

We scored, cheered minimally... then nothing. It was so weak. I know that the figureheads have to be upset and trying to find a viable solution to get the crowd pumped... because the Post Scoring celebrations were so weak... it wasnt even the slightest bit exciting.

Major thumbs down.

They played Boom after the first TD, and I swore that the crowd booed the song shortly afterwards. Immediately after the XP, they played a heavy version of Rock n Roll Pt 2.

The heavy version sounded alright, they just need to blast it and not have it so muted.

I DO think the "other version" of Rock 'n Roll, Pt. II is reasonable loophole though....

Hmm..must have missed the first one. I could have sworn it was rock and roll part 2. I didn't hear anyone boo.

Of course, the sound system needs replaced. Badly. As does the video boards...gah.

Because you don't cross the NFL, haha. I mean that's it really. I think as of right now, it's just the NFL saying "this guy's a pedophile, don't play his song." I imagine they're thinking, who is going to say no to that... I don't know.

I can't imagine what the other artists that have songs playing are guilty of.

It actually may have been RnR Pt 2 directly after the TD.

But yes, thankfully after this season they'll improve the sound and video. You'd think they'd make an effort to not have some giant bar of interference on one of the screens.

The folks in front of us were older and didn't have a clue who Sammy was. RED sounded like a good idea, but did not go over well at all.

I think they should scrap the stupid crap and play something that we can still chant to...

Mony Mony is a good one...

"Here she comes now sayin' Mony Mony"
-We're Gonna Beat the Hell out of you
"Shoot 'em down turn around come on Mony"
-We're gonna beat the hell out of you
"Hey she give me love and I feel all right now"
-We're Gonna Beat the hell out of you
"Come on you gotta toss and turn and feel all right, yeah I feel all right
I said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
-YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH

'Cause you make me feel
-C.H.I.E.F.S. CHIEFS!
So good, so good, so good
So fine, so fine
-C.H.I.E.F.S. CHIEFS!
It's all mine, well I feel all right
I said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
-YEAH, YEAH, YEAH...

It works if you sing it. Spelling out the Chiefs' name is very much like the JETS and EAGLES chants, but we have the "Beat Down" chant too. The first verse could be after the touchdown, and after the extra point (and announcer) they could play the second part. Keep people wound up...

Not knowing who Sammy Hagar is has more to do with living under a rock and not paying attention than being old. Unless they're old and deaf.

That does work. Wow.

You must be a music major....or minor, at least.

Even when Sammy did his little speach "I am thinking about RED!" they still didn't have a clue.
