Carlos Hall, DL KC

News: The Kansas City Star reports that DE Carlos Hall, who has battled injuries throughout his career, is a candidate to be cut by the Chiefs. The coaches seemingly love his playmaking ability, but are afraid he's too injury prone to be counted on.

Analysis: Hall was once a Fantasy surprise, but now he's not worth using in any IDP league.

Actually Hicks will have probably done alot of stupid shit like getting suckered in on 100 bootlegs while Hall did nothing.

The thing is, is that Hicks used to kill the bootlegs. In 2000, most of his 14 sacks were from QBs running the bootleg. I think he has lost intelligence with age.

He's also lost considerable physical tools. He's horribly slow and he gets pushed to the ground by TE's and RB's, let alone offensive linemen...

Yeah, but Hicks, mediocre as he is, at least stays healthy. He does more for you than somebody who's never in uniform.

I absolutely agree, which is why I've been defending the decision to keep him.

As much as I can't stand him, they don't really have a choice.

I agree as well. At least he's ok against the run at times. I just hope they don't rotate him in that much this year. I figure Hali won't need that much rest being that he didn't play until last week, maybe?

How about anybody.....we just need to get Hicks contract off the roster. If it's just because he's a warm body I'm sure we can find someone else who doesn't make half the money that could at worst do the same job.

I believe the thinking is they will keep four DE's + four DT's with one extra guy that will play both which = Wilkerson

It might be 3+4+ Wilkerson and not the 4+4 I mentioned. Its still early for me.

Anyways, Gawd I want Hicks gone in the worst way. It really is a reflection of the lack of talent we have on the D-Line IMO.

and I do blame Hall for this. If he gets cut and Hicks stays on. It is his fault. htsimagine is right.
